Alan Bell

Managing Director

Alan has been active in the Residential and Mixed-Use Property and Hospitality Development sector for 32 years.

Over the past 18 years whilst based between London & The Iberian Peninsula, Alan has been involved in large-scale projects internationally, covering Portugal; Spain; France; Montenegro; The Caribbean; Dubai; Argentina & India.

His professional experience now covers a wide range of activities, including:

1988

THE BEGINNING

Alan started his property career in 1988 with Johnny Rabie, the doyen of residential property developers in Cape Town, South Africa.
Over the following 12 years, Alan was responsible for the overall Management and Development of the full sales and marketing function, and was responsible for taking the sales to in excess of 200 units per month.
In 2000, Alan joined the Savills Associate Company in South Africa, Pam Golding Properties, as International Director, responsible for marketing UK Residential Developers projects in South Africa and the Far East (Hong Kong and Singapore).

2002–2010

THE LONDON YEARS

In 2002 Alan was transferred to the London Office of Savills International, where he was responsible for a number of projects in Central Europe, Dubai and Eastern Europe.
In March 2007, Alan opened the flagship European Office, for IFA Hotels & Resorts in the heart of London.

2010–2016

BUSINESS ALL OVER THE WORLD

From 2010 to 2016, Alan has undertaken projects and appointments in The Caribbean; Argentina; Brazil, India & Montenegro.
In 2016, Alan was appointed an Advisory Board Member to the RootCorp Investment Manager and RealAssets Multi Manager Teams.

2017

THE IBERIAN TOUCH

From the beginning of 2017, Alan was been based in Iberia, operating between Lisbon, Algarve in Portugal and Alicante and The Costa Blanca region in Southern Spain, advising numerous UK property developers with their Projects Master Planning, Sales & Marketing campaigns.

2018

THE LISBON AFFAIR

Alan than fell in love with Lisbon, where he has been permanently based since 2018 & is currently Head of Sales and Marketing for the Neworld & GMG Real Estate residential portfolio in Portugal.
From three active projects in Lisbon, Alan & his Sales Team have been responsible for sales in excess of 120 units with a total of €70 million in sales to date.
