Alan Bell
Managing Director
Alan has been active in the Residential and Mixed-Use Property and Hospitality Development sector for 32 years.
His professional experience now covers a wide range of activities, including Project Development Management; Sales & Marketing Campaigns; Comparative Market Research; Feasibility Analysis; Real Estate Project Finance Appraisals; Conducting Due Diligence on potential new projects and Strategic Master Planning Consulting.
Over the past 18 years whilst based between London & The Iberian Peninsula, Alan has been involved in large-scale projects internationally, covering Portugal; Spain; France; Montenegro; The Caribbean; Dubai; Argentina & India.
Charles Weston-Baker
Charles is a British National and a director of Resort Development Ltd and a director and equity holder in ROL and a number of other businesses. Primarily a real estate professional with active consultancies, project management roles and resort design and promotion roles internationally following senior management roles and corporate experience with Bovis Abroad/ P&O (as was) and Savills.
Charles has 30 years of development, consultancy and sales and marketing experience with international residential and leisure projects, having established and led the International Residential Department of Savills for 25-years. Charles is a leading specialist in resort real estate development and his experience includes over 200 development projects in over 80 countries on four continents.
His experience covers a number of fields including: Strategic Land Review & Acquisition, Development Consultancy, Development Management Development Funding, Programme Management, Design Consultancy, Retirement Development, Concept Development, Master planning & Marketing & PR, Residential Agency. Prior to joining Savills, he was with Bovis/P&O for 11-years, where he was director for a number of major international development projects, including a two of Europe’s leading high quality integrated resorts – Quinta do Lago in Portugal and La Manga Club, Spain.
He also worked on projects ranging from a high technology park in the Czech Republic, Euro Disney, the International Carnegie Clubs developed by Peter de Savary and Quinta do Lago – created by André Jordan as well as many other projects in the UK. Charles previously spent 11 years as an officer in the British Army where his appointments included establishing a tank force for the Sultan of Oman. Charles has a wide knowledge and experience of concept development and master-planning and project delivery.

Plantation eco-retreat, Algarve – development planning 220 ha, 600-unit eco retreat. Envisaged operator: Six Senses;
Tavira, Algarve – development planning a boutique hotel in partnership with Webley Holdings;
Palacio Belmonte, Lisbon – asset manager, exit strategy formulation;
Quinta dos Cedros, Sintra – development planning a 4 ha, 13.000 m2 GBA luxury gated community;

Tamára Neves
Tamára Neves is a project Manager and is responsible for the groups Marketing and social media initiatives.
With a background in Marketing and luxury hospitality, Tamára also assists in Sales administration to the full Sales team and has been with ABG for 2 years.
Vera Lagos
Vera Lagos is a Sales Manager at ABG and has been working in the luxury and premium real estate for the past 5 years.
Vera was a nominee and award winner of the International Visitor LEadership Program promoted by the USA embassy in 2017.
With a degree in Journalism and taking another one in history, she keeps investing in expanding her knowledge.
Vera’s other passion is as a Press officer and public relations executive working in motorsports, but it is in real estate and sales that she excels.
Melanie Ferreira
Sales Manager
Melanie is both a British and Portuguese National and passionate about project development, specifically in the residential and luxury hospitality market.
Her professional experience as a consultant includes the Portuguese government, top five Portuguese law firms, multinational and boutique consultancy firms as well as for management systems (quality, risk and legal risk), compliance, internal and external communication, human resources and business development.
With an MBA in legal practice (UK), Melanie has extensive experience in leading challenging projects, dealing with people and making things happen.
She has been with ABG for two years.
